Job Description: Full Stack Developer
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack) with strong hands-on coding skills. The ideal candidate will excel in building scalable web applications using Node.js (back-end) and React.js (front-end), and collaborate closely with the design team to create dynamic user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, refine, and implement dynamic, front-end web applications using React.js.
- Build sustainable and scalable server-side applications with Node.js.
- Create database schemes that represent and support business processes in MySQL.
- Ensure the technical feasibility and smooth operation of UI/UX designs.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Work with other team members, including front-end developers and UX/UI designers.
- Maintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technology.
Job requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Solid experience with React.js, Next.js and Nest.js.
- Proficient in using MySQL or MongoDB, with a good understanding of database design and administration.
- Strong proficiency in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm).
- Understanding of container technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Appreciation for clean and well-documented code.
Additional Information:
- This is a fully remote position.
- Compensation will be in USD.
- Work hours are aligned with the EST time zone (9 AM to 6 PM EST) or PT Time zone
